Can Global Warming Be Studied Too Much?

Globalization has resulted in a world in which actions in one area may have far-reaching consequences across the globe, and in no field of study is that fact more relevant than the current debate over global warming. The Bush administration has convened a three-day meeting to discuss the agenda for researching climate change. All agree that pollution, especially from fossil fuels, plays some role in the gradual changing of global climate patterns that has occurred throughout the past century, but opinions differ about the speed of change and pollution's overall effect. To many scientists worried about the impending effects of serious climatic change, the Bush Administration, which is asking for more time to study the evidence, seems to be dragging its feet. – YaleGlobal
