Leaked IS Documents Identify Thousands of Jihadis

A report, not yet been confirmed by authorities, suggests that a disgruntled Islamic State member confiscated a memory stick from the terrorist group’s internal security chief. The stick is said to contain thousands of documents including registration forms for recruits including names, addresses, family contacts, anticipated level of obedience and readiness for suicide missions. “A lot of the names and their new Islamic State names on the registration forms are well-known,” reports Stuart Ramsay for Sky News. “Many of the men passed through a series of jihadi ‘hotspots’ – such as Yemen, Sudan, Tunisia, Libya, Pakistan and Afghanistan - on multiple occasions, but were apparently unchecked, unmonitored and able to both enter Syria to fight and then to return home.” Some names are well known; others are new and families can expect investigations. German authorities may have a similar set of leaked documents. The whistleblower claims he stole the memory stick because the terrorist group no longer upholds Islamic principles.
