Missing MH370: China, Malaysia Mistrust Becomes War of Words

The disappearance of Malaysian Flight MH370 over the Indian Ocean has ignited resentment between China and Malaysia. Most passengers were Chinese. Around the globe, researchers and technicians have volunteered hours to figure out why the flight went off course, and volunteers studied satellite images for debris – so common in oceans. Shortly after the flight from Kuala Lumpur failed to arrive in Beijing, the search focused on the South China Sea before analysis demonstrated that the flight had traveled thousands of miles westward – adding to delays in finding possible survivors or for that matter wreckage. With a fury that would not be tolerated by their own government, Chinese protesters demand that the Malaysian government release satellite data that show the plane went down in the Indian Ocean.
